Hello!
My name is Kyleigh and I am a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Tourism Management program at Thompson Rivers University. Growing up in Kamloops I had always taken an interest in outdoor sports, from mountain biking to skiing, Kamloops really has it all. But this love for outdoor sport also meant I was often spending time in mountain resorts which is where I developed an interest in the tourism industry. In my career, I hope to work in a position I am truly passionate about and where I can share my vision for the tourism industry and have a positive impact throughout the process.
The purpose of this website is to display some of the course work I have completed from TRU and to provide some background on who I am and what I hope to do!
This photo was taken on one of many summer road trips. This one, in particular, was a loop from Kamloops to Banff, over the Icefields Parkway, and through Jasper, with a quick stop in Valemount before arriving back home. As an authentic experiencer, locations like these are always a highlight of my travels.
The above video truly sums up what travel is to me! There is nothing better than getting out with friends and taking in the landscapes, wherever they may be.
